Andy & Naomi Brought
Andy was an Indian Valley graduate and his sister Naomi was a graduate from Middletown. They have both been involved in the arts since their grandmother influenced them at an early age. Andy is currently a district forester, while Naomi is an art teacher at Hershey high school. Andy's artwork is often on the abstract side and can be described as colorful yet mysterious. Naomi's artwork has been dreamy and surreal recently with some new paintings influenced from a trip to Alaska.

Celebrating Our 2nd Anniversary!
Middletown Area Arts Collective Celebrates 2nd Anniversary
On our usual 2nd Sunday Afternoon with Artists in August from 2-6pm, we will celebrate our 2nd Anniversary! Our featured artist will be one of our newest members Kevin Bashore. His photograph “Burning Bush “ has been part of the “Art of the State” exhibit at the State Museum.
Our music will feature “Union Street Blues”, a collection of musicians who are using our artistic atmosphere to enjoy music on Wednesday evenings from 7p-1a. The have added the first Hammond organ ever made to the charm of the gallery. On Wednesday evenings we have music, food and drinks. BYOB.
We are happy to be here and more and more groups are enjoying our space. We have accommodated weddings, anniversary parties, birthday parties, private business meetings and workshops. We also have wifi available for students who just want a place to study or get online.
MAAC is a place we want you to enjoy. You can always take a piece of MAAC with you, too. Our over 70 artist members contribute every form of art from pottery and sculpture to photography and paintings. Our classes include stained glass, drawing, painting, pottery, jewelry and drama. You can find more information online at middletownarts.com.

New Year's Eve Coffee House
Coffee, tea, soda, mixers, food and snacks will be available for purchase. BYOB. We will also have games to play and music by “Monster $ Money”. They are a 4 man group playing experimental improv. This is instrumental background music, I definitely call it artistic! Kaleo Billet plays drums, Jared Colon plays keyboard, Alek Koone plays guitar and Zach Moser plays bass. We will party from 9pm-1am. There is a $5 cover for the band. We also hope to fill our stairwell with the goals and dreams of those who attend. 2009 can be a year for people to create anything!
